I was there too! What a long night at the ole ballyard. Reds win the first game 14-13, used 7 pitchers and the game took 3:41. Then they turn around and lose 15-2 and give up 4 HR and 12 RBIs to Whitten. Good times!

I watched it. I know it was a double header but wow, they fielded a minor league team that second game.

Dibbs gives up the 4th homer.

I laid in bed as a little boy that night and listened to Joe and Marty call the first few homers. But by the 4th homer I was sawing logs and preparing for one of my first days of 3rd grade
