Power rankings show the relative strength of teams, not considering the division and league they will play in.

This is interesting. IMO the NL Central is very weak this year other than the Cubs (and even they have the potential for problems due to fragile health of guys like Bradley & Harden). The Cards hopes rest on Carpenter who hasn't won a game in 2 years. If he can't get it done their #2 starter is ... Lohse.
The Brewers have offense but their pitching is weaker.
The astros are getting worse. They have Berkmann, Lee, Oswalt & pray for rain.
