    Weirdest Favorite Album

Think of your top 5 favorite ALBUMS (not artists or songs), and list the one that others might seem the strangest here. (Artist - Album Name)

    For me?

Pure Prairie League - Steppin' Out
    2014 Reds record: 1-2

I look like a banker in this...

James McMurtrey.....Where did you hide the body.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

    Johnny Horton's Greatest Hits

Not top 5, but I do have it available in the car and do actually listen to it.

If I had to pick one, it'd be Nerf Herder's s/t debut. Most of the music I like is pretty critically-acclaimed, and although Nerf Herder wasn't considered a bad album, it's not considered to be a classic by many people, unlike some of my other favorites (i.e. Blonde on Blonde, Teenager of the Year, etc.).

Yes, they were. They still play here locally now as The Goshorn Brothers (or at least the two brothers who were in the band). When I went and saw them at NKU (or maybe Thomas More), I sat next to the guitarist's mother for the show.

Peter Sarstedt - Where Do You Go to My Lovely.

Purchased it for 1 dollar at the .99 store. Lost it about a year later, but during that first year, that thing was the dream.

I want to say Pure Prairie League has a Clermont County connection somehow.

    Re: Weirdest Favorite Album

I remember seeing Pure Prairie League as a OU sometime-bar band (albeit a good one) around Athens circa 1970-72. I think a lot of guys have come and gone in that band.

Can't say they are my favorite albums, but these oddballs used to get regular play time on my turntable back in the day:

Quicksilver Messaging Service - Shady Grove (because of Edward the Mad Shirt Grinder)
    Wim Mertens - Close Cover
    Roy Buchanan - Roy Buchanan
    Glass Harp - Synergy
She used to wake me up with coffee ever morning

Survivor- Vital Signs. I love that record. Ron Nevison at his poppy best.
