Home vs. away probably doesn't factor into it. It may be due to a limited number of HD production trucks, which travel from site to site on a schedule. (I had hoped that there would be enough HD trucks to do every game in HD by this season...) If no HD truck is available for the game, we get the standard definition treatment.

Hey...100 games is a step up from where we were a couple of years ago.

Anyone in WV--has Suddenlink announced thier plans on carrying the schedule again? I'm trying to avoid the dreaded Extra Innings package. No HD, but I can live with SD for free.

It's not just the production trucks, it's the cameras and the uplink, too. If any one of these things isn't HD, the telecast can't be HD.

CINCINNATI - FOX Sports Ohio today announced its 2009 145-game Cincinnati Reds television schedule, including 100 games in high definition (HD). Henry Ford, senior vice president and general manager, FOX Sports Ohio, made the announcement.
Oh No!!! Look above in the quote. We're going to get the Model T of HD programming. Oh Henry!

Thanks much, Kitty! I was wondering just yesterday why the team does not release a complete schedule that indicates which games are in HD, etc. This is going onto my fridge, replacing the one from reds.com.

Just announced today they have added another TV game to the schedule to make up for an earlier rainout.

Not sure why there is a makeup game on the schedule. Does that mean they are not showing both ends of the day/night DH for the makeup of that game?

It might be too expensive or too inconvenient for FSN to hire two crews to televise both games of a doubleheader.
