Huh. I am the same way with ranch dressing...

Ranch dressing doesn't bother me, but anyone who has recently consumed ranch dressing really gets on my nerves.

Weber's Horseradish mustard. I don't miss a whole lot from living in Buffalo, but this makes the list. I have a small supply here in my pantry that I restock on trips back north.

Nothing to see here. Please disperse.

I gotta say, I went to a game in Cleveland with my Pops last year (actually, it was the unassisted triple play game) and grabbed a hotdog.

Well, maybe it was my 4th hot dog.

Anyways, I went over and put some Bertman Ballpark mustard on it. I thought I had found the garden of Eden.

Bertman is my number one mustard for hot dogs or other sausages. Anyone else have any preferences?
By the way, I believe the brand sold at the stadium is sold as "Authentic Stadium Mustard," whereas Bertman's is "Original Ballpark Mustard." Bertman's was originally sold in League Park and Cleveland Stadium, but Stadium has been in Cleveland Stadium in the later years as well as the Jake/Progressive. The two brands are very similar, but some swear they can taste the difference. Kind of like the Skyline/Gold Star debate.

Whether I have Bertman's or Stadium (depends on which is available at the market), one good recipe I have is for tuna salad. Chop up some red onion and celery, mix it in with two cans of tuna, add about 1/3 a cup of mayo and 3 tbsp of the mustard along with it. The mustard gives the tuna salad a nice tangy zip to it.

I didn't like mustard when I was a kid. Now I love it. I'm not picky as long as it's spicy brown. Kroger makes a good spicy brown.

    Re: Favorite brand of mustard

I like a good sturdy spicy brown mustard on my hot dogs and sausages. For sandwiches and cooking, I'm a Grey Poupon/Dijon guy. I've never been a big fan of yellow mustard.

I'm the same way, although I know we're the minority. I use mustard to cook with all the time, as well.

Plus, I give props to any food that can also be used in other forms as a weapon.

    I'm suprised nobody mentioned Colman's:

I'm weird about mustard; I like plain yellow (usually French's) mustard on hot dogs, corn dogs, or burgers; Spicy brown (usually Guldens) on Kielbasa, Smoked Sausage, Brats; And Colman's or a Dijon mustard as an ingredient in cooking.

I must admit being partial to Chinese mustard. The more it feels like a quantum singularity in your nose, the better.
