I'm keeping my fingers crossed for weather exactly like Opening Day 2007. What a perfect day.

Or 2005. THAT my friends was glorious. Gorgeous day. And Joe Randa. I unfairly expect every opening day to look and feel like that.

OD 2005 taught me to never leave a game early again. We could hear the screams as we got to my car, in Covington.

Looks like the rain chance is backing off from 60%, that's a plus. I'll take all the good news I can get.

Re: Weather forecast for 2009 Opening Day!

Today's forecast from the National Weather Service takes the chance of rain down to 30% so we are moving in the right direction:

Monday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Hmm, let's see. Ancient, out of shape (for a pro ball player anyway) and yet surprisingly productive despite a penchant for letting 2-3 guys on an inning.
