I'm going to keep saying 81 wins until it happens.

I'm not sure I've participated before, but here goes: 83 wins, the losing stops now.

    77 wins

But I really feel this will be the last year (for a while, I hope) that my number will be lower than 82.

82 wins. The starting pitching is what gives us our first winning season in a while, not the offense.

    Taveras leading off
    Phillips batting cleanup
    No Griffey/Dunn
    Gonzalez batting second

This team is going to struggle to score runs, and nothing I have seen this spring changes any of that.

The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.

a super volcano of ridonkulous suckitude.

I simply don't have access to a "cares about RBI" place in my psyche. There is a "mildly curious about OBI%" alcove just before the acid filled lake guarded by robot snipers with lasers which leads to the "cares about RBI" antechamber though. - Nate

I was off by 1 in my prediction of 75 last year, I hope I'm off by much more this year.

More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can't wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that's not only better, but also more directly involves me.

74 Wins. I want to say 81, but I think the pitching will be a mixed bag and will not be good enough to offset the loss in run production.
Nothing to see here. Please disperse.
