Sad time in the expediting community

Many people in my line of work are a pretty close knit family. We see each other at truck stops, call each other a lot on the phone, and we have an online forum similar to this place where we have at each other. Imagine the shock when I found out that one of our own was murdered Sunday. I heard that a trucker was found dead Sunday, and last night I found out that it was someone I knew who teamed with his wife and was an active member of a trucking forum I am a moderator on. It's not exactly happy times around there right now. His wife was the one who found his body. Prayers for the family, and for those of us who knew him personally, are much appreciated.

The story gets worse now. It turns out now his wife was complicit in his murder. Her brother was the one who shot him and she tried to help him cover it up. Sad.

Sadly, it's usually someone close to the victim. That was my first thought when I read your initial post.
