The roster also suggests that the Reds released David Shafer.

The Reds traded Davis Shafer two years ago.

I believe they re-signed him as a minor league free agent this winter. Not sure though...

He was released by the Athletics, and then the Reds signed him back in early February.

I thought I saw Justin Mallett's name on the Sarasota roster the other day.

Will Lecure be a starter? Where will he fit in the their rotation? My son's going with the OSU group to the Bats/Clippers game in a couple of weeks and I figure he can give Lecure a holler.

OBM will probably buy season tickets for Indianapolis since Andy Phillips is playing there.

Scott Williamson, really? Did I forget he was trying a comeback? I kept hearing that here from time to time, but never heard anything about him actually signing somewhere.

Lecure is indeed in the Louisville rotation. I think he's scheduled to start Monday.
