Is Wiley's patience sick or what? I didn't catch it earlier but that PA in the 7th was major league-esque. 5 pitches 3-4 of them pretty close to strikes and he just sit and watched them all go by, didn't even think about swinging.

Well I am not directly behind home plate, so its tough for me to say completely how good it was, but walking hasn't ever been the problem with him. Its been the strikeouts that have been an issue following him around for a while.

Matt LaPorta just took Manuel deep. LaPorta is a stud, he'll be in Cleveland very soon.

I know it was 7-1 and we needed baserunners but even still he let some seriously good pitches go by. By that I mean guys at that age are usually swinging at anything close especially with a runner in scoring position. He was just stone cold patient there.

Thurman's 6 K's may be the best news of the Dragons game. What kind of stuff does he have?

His breaking ball was buckling guys knees tonight. Unfortunately the radar gun has been spotty at best tonight. For 3 innings it was stuck on 97.
