    Gave up a double to Laporta, Aubrey homers, Gimenez flies out, Head single, Brown grounds into a DP.

    2-0 Clippers after 1 1/2

    Jonny Gomes just doubled to deep center field to drive in Kevin Barker, who walked to begin the inning.

    Rosales singled to put runners on the corners and nobody out. Danny Dorn followed with a sac fly to left off the LHP to tie the game at 2-2.

    Matt Fairel gave up four runs - three earned - in the second inning. Dayton trails 4-0 after 1 1/2 inning.

    The Sarasota offense exploded for five runs in the third inning.

    Alonso walked again, Buchholz belted a 2-run homer, Soto singled, and Perales hit a 3-run homer.

    Alonso: 0-for-0 two walks
    Buchholz: 2-for-2 double, HR (#1), 4 RBI
    Soto: 2-for-2
    Mesoraco: 0-for-2
    Perales: 1-for-2 HR (#1), 3 RBI

    This Buchholz kid looks to be a nice steal.

    Yonder is just going to be a offensive force once he gets to the bigs.

    Homer has been rock solid, he was just having some problems with LaPorta and Aubrey. Love the 4 k's and 0 walks though.
