OK...lets rock Snell's world early and make this a boring afternoon for Pirates fan (not sure there is more than one).

An astonishingly low (for Harang) pitch count of 12 I believe.

Not me. I love a CF who plays shallow. A double here and there isn't worth a bunch of bloop hits. Remember Griffey in CF?

Stupid FSN/SportsSouth here gave me the first two Reds games and nothing since. And they're blacked out on the free Extra Innings trial. If my Reds are going to get their brains beaten in, I want to watch it!
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

If the Reds can't do anything against Snell, then I'll concede that it is not only the defense and the pitching that sucks, but also the offense.

Still, I think the offense will rip him today.

That was an exceptional play that Gutierrez made in Minnesota a few days ago.

If the righties get on today, the lefties need to make some hay....

Nice to know that the Reds practice hitting into outs.

Taveras leads off with a double but Dickerson and Votto follow with weak flyouts. Sheesh.

I love that Pirates socks....the way he wears them makes a 70's baseball follower proud.

Paul Blair played very shallow beacuse he was so good at going back on the ball and had speed. So did Andrew Jones when he was not looking like terry Forster.

Man the empty seats are depressing. It's almost like a home game for the Pirates.
