I'm not too terribly worried about that first start, but it'd be nice to see Homer get back on track tonight

Not a good start for Homer.

Run scores on what should have been an inning ending DP. Valaika w/ the throwing error.

Homer has walked to in the first.

K's the next batter to get out of the inning.

Stubbs walks in his first plate appearance. That's his fourth walk already this season.

Homer didn't look real good in the first. Struck the last guy out on a pretty nasty slider though

Where did Homer's control from spring training go?

Very disappointing start so far by Bailey. After walking two in the first inning, he comes out in the second inning and gets ahead 0-2 on Ramirez, missed with three straight to run the count full and then allowed a groundball single. He got ahead 1-2 on the next batter and ended up walking him. He looked dominant during the spring but he's been disappointing so far with Louisville. It's still only two starts so I'm not too worried yet, but still...

Now 2-0 Toledo after Bailey serves up a bomb to the Mud Hens' Ryan Raburn.

Homer gets the next two guys out, but another bomb, courtesy of Toledo's Mike Hessman. 3-0 Hens.

At least both Hessman and Raburn are big-league quality hitters.

I'm looking forward to when he's up with the Reds. Probably won't be until September but maybe he'll be on fire for a while.

Bailey hits the next batter after Hessman with a pitch. Uh oh?
