Wait...you want EE & Brandon to take hitting tips from Agon? :O) I agree they need to learn the concept...but the thought of them taking the hint from Agon of all people...that just sounds wrong somehow. *grin*

Owings doubled off the wall in his last pinch hit appearance. Would you have seen it then, fcb? Or do you only react to very latest last thing you see? Curious, I am...

Just saying, he looks overmatched by a mediocre pitcher.

Weeks pops up to 1b. One out.

Owings starting to get his fast ball in under the hands of the righties. With the notable exception of Mike Cameron.

I think Thom B would like to date Craig Counsell.

Oh yeah, lets have EE and Phillips start looking to Gonzo for hitting tips.....

But take a mental picture of that last at bat by Gonzo, it may have to last you all season.

Thom/Marty could double with Counsell and Steve Finley.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Anyone else things that Tom B gets a nickle everytime he says "twitter"?

Bruce with an amazing diving catch... there's that defense.

Jay Bruce with one heck of a catch to end the inning!

Great play by Bruce in RF. Diving catch to save a double or triple up the gap.

    Three up, three down.

    3-1 Brewers after five.

    amen to that.

He is wearing #42....maybe they can imagine it was Jackie Robinson?

Maybe they can just wonder why a number 8 hitter can have that kind of result by just going with the pitch....instead of trying to pull every outside pitch, resulting in the obligatory 5 hopper to 3rd for the easy out.

How many quality starts did the Reds get out of the fifth spot in the rotation last year? It could not have been many.

If Owings can navigate the next inning, he will have given the Reds a QS tonight...
