Louisville jumps out to a 1-0 lead after Rosales and Gomes single, Rosales scores on a Wes Bankston RBI single.
Sappelt leads off with a single for Dayton. Fort Wayne is 6-0 and has allowed all of 7 runs this season. Couple that with a poor Dayton offense so far and it may be a long night for the Dragons.
After Dayton gets a single and a walk the next three batters strike out to end the top of the first for Dayton. Josh Ravin coming up to pitch in the bottom half.
Louisville is tied at 1 after a sac fly by Indianapolis.
Rosales with a long HR. 2-1 Bats.
I think the radio guys said about 425'.
Ravin sits them down 1-2-3. Dayton tied at 0 after 1.
Kevin Coddington doubles for Dayton with 1 out in the 2nd. Hopefully they can get him across the plate.
Dayton is a boring team right now. They're in between talent. Most of the Reds top draft picks last year were college guys who were too advanced for Dayton (Alonso, Buchholz, Stewart though he played there for a short time) while their highly touted Latin America signings are too young and not ready for Dayton yet. They should become more interesting when Kyle Lotzkar, Juan Carlos Sulbaran, and maybe Evan Hildenbrandt join the team. Plus, the Reds have four top 100 draft picks so a couple of those guys could end up in Dayton.
I miss Adam Dunn.
Ramirez balks on a steal of home attempt. 2-2
With Daryl Thompson and Drew Sutton coming to Louisville soon, you have to wonder what roster moves are going to be made.
