    Russell Crowe as Robin Hood

    http://www.beyondhollywood.com/first...as-robin-hood/

My understanding is he's both Robin AND the Sheriff.

    I could watch this.

I am re-reading one of my favorite novels, Sherwood by Parke Godwin. It's set during and just after the Norman invasion.

Would have made a great movie.

Have you read Stephen Lawhead's series (Hood, Scarlet, Tuck)? My favorite author

BTW, I grew up in Sherwood, OR. Every year they have a Robin Hood Festival in July (my sister was Maid Marion, back in the mid-70s) Last I heard, they still hold an annual archery competition with folks from Nottingham, England

    Can this?....

    Match this?....

I don't know. It may be better to cast Crowe as either Friar Tuck or Little John.

Well Russell Crowe and Ridley Scott have been pretty good so far.

Trailer is out. I am actually looking forward to seeing this, and I don't think that Bryan Adams wrote the theme song for this one.
