Janish's odds of making the roster just went up quite a bit.

Wonder what kind of return they will get.

I always liked Keppy and wish him the best, except for when he plays the Reds.

Good trade for the 'Stros. Upgrade in defense for the Reds
It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...

Don't let the door hit you on the way out, Keppinger.

He had a nice 2007 season and does a solid job against lefties, but in the end he's a statue playing infield and is helpless against righty pitching.

Wish him the best, before he was hurt he did a solid job for Reds. Will be rooting for him

    Good luck to Country Kepp!

Interesting. I was thinking he might end up in Boston.

I like the continued focus on fielding. Unless your bat can completely carry you, as a bench player you better field. Do at least one thing well. Kepp doesn't really have a skill.

Good deal, and good luck to Kepp.

If this puts janish on the team, and they have a guy who can play solid late inning D at ss, that's really fine.

This is really true. The Reds have been littered with these kinds for so long.

A good handful of weeks that saw some balls fall in isn't a skill set.

Somebody actually thought he had value?

Wow. Congrats to Walt. And good luck Kepp.

No room for an out of options guy in Boston.

Not surprised by the move as much as I would have been in years past. This makes sense, there wasn't room on the roster. I like that they're not keeping out of options guys just because they're out of options.
