Anyone going to Chicago to see the Reds this week? I know it is a mid week series. Just curious if anyone was going?

Cedric 3/24/08It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...
I won't be able to go to any games, but I'd be game for a RedsZone outing Thursday night if others are in town...
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
I will be freezing my butt off at tommorrow night's game.
I am going up Wednesday afternoon and then staying (I hope) to see Thursday's day game.

I will be at all 3. Section 529 on Tuesday, section 514 on Wednesday, bleachers on Thursday. In all fairness, I literally live directly next to the stadium.
I plan on being at Wrigley Field on Wednesday and maybe Thursday. Maybe I'll see you there.
My best friend and I have been talking about going over there, but we'd have to cancel some plans to make it happen. I'll post something here if we cancel our studio time.
Raining pretty hard when I left Wrigley this morning. I'd be surprised if we played tonight.
Tim McCarver: Baseball Quotes
I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.
I wanted to be nearby to watch the Cubs choke every single season.
In all seriousness it's a really fun area to live in, and I love baseball, so I don't mind being around the environment. It's impossible to watch Cubs games on TV though because I've already heard the fans reaction about 5 seconds before it appears on my TV. This weekend was a lot of "Was that a Cubs cheer or a Cards cheer."
Just a cold, wet, nasty mess out there today. Looks like the rain/sleet has let up a bit, but it's not going to be a fun day at the park if the play.

I will be in Section 19 behind home plate on Wednesday. Thursday I will just pick up some tickets. Supposed to be 71 and beautiful on Thursday.
