Can a third start in a minor league season be any bigger than Bailey's tonight? Too, on another note, Travis Wood's recent surge toward respectability may be important to follow as well. Perhaps last night's onslaught will ignite the Carolina offense. And Soto's perfect 4-4 will have to double to get him an acceptable BA.

Homer showed great control in spring training and carried it over in his first start of the season, but it's abandoned him in his last two starts.

Which is probably a good thing.

Impressive first inning by Matt Fairel as he struckout all three batters he faced.

David Sappelt led off the bottom of the first inning with a triple but was stranded. No score after one inning.
