What's the book on Justin Mallett? He just seems to keep hanging around. They must see him as possible relief help. I ask in regard to Thompson's move to active at L'ville. Might think Kennard, Pettyjohn, or Mallett would go, with Jukich or Lecure going to the pen or maybe doing some 4-4 splits for a while till things sort out.

Nice to hear some good results for a change throughout the system.

Fairel struckout the side again in the fourth inning, though he did give up a run.

Ben Jukich will be going to the bullpen to make room for Thompson in the bullpen.

Alonso just hit a 2-run homer. He's 3-for-3 tonight with two doubles, a HR (#2), and 4 RBI.

I thought Jukich or LeCure would go back to AA. But if Jukich is going to bullpen, makes me think someone like Kennard is in danger of release.

Dayton's offense seems to be coming around tonight. Maybe all they needed was some home cooking?
