Going into today's game (stats BEFORE his latest barrage), here's Chris Heisey:

.308/.460/.615 for an OPS of 1.075 ... 3 hr 6 rbi 9 runs scored 5 stolen bases 9 walks to only 5 Ks
Make it 6 sbs and 10 bb to only 5 k after today's effort, and his OPS may be up over 1.100 when today's onslaught is figured in.

Frankly, there cannot be too many guys hotter or with better stats in the entirety of minor league baseball than what Heisey is currently doing...

    Gomes: 2-for-4 walk

One of the things I like about Heisey is, he's a great baserunner. Last season he was 32-for-34 in stolen base attempts, and this season he's 6-for-6 so far.

Any chance we see Heisey and Stubbs playing together in the Louisville outfield at some point this summer?

    Zach Cozart is at .320/.404/.460 - .864 OPS with a solid 7 BB/8 K ratio in 50 atbats.

Frazier is hitting .367/.400/.510 - .910 OPS in 49 atbats.

I'm kinda giddy about Cozart right now. A legit shortstop with a solid bat would be awfully nice

Another year or two in the weight room and the power numbers could go up, but it sounds like he is really stinging the ball, and he is not striking out very much, and has pretty good patientience...

Would love to see him stay around .875 OPS all year or higher...

It seems like he's been on fire since the middle of last season. That got me thinking, does anyone know of a site that keeps split stats for the minors, year by year? Milb.com only has them for the current season.

www.Minorleaguesplits.com The data isn't always complete, missing a PA here or there, but for the most part its as accurate as you are going to get.
