Nah, this one wasn't intentional. Votto was hit on the foot.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

I think the Braves got their payback by hitting Votto yesterday.
Thanks. Wasn't watching when he was hit yesterday.

I refuse to include the O in offense when describing this team.

    Owings walks Brandon Jones. Jeez.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

I wouldn't be surprised if Arroyo's HBP of Escobar yesterday wasn't retaliation for Votto getting hit. The umpire thought it was unintentional, but Bronson has a bit of a mean streak. I figure that Bronson had decided he wanted to pitch inside, and if Escobar gets hit...oh well.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Owings pitched to David Ross like he was Barry Bonds and walks him on 4 straight.

Owings has now walked the two worst hitting position players in the Braves lineup. He's not going to have success if he keeps that up.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

Re: 4/26/09 - Reds vs Braves

Owings suffers from an inability to do two things: throw strikes and keep the ball down.

Those two inabilities are two you don't want your pitcher to have.
