This is hands down the most embarrassing thing you can have to you as a MLB team.
And it happens to the Yankees...
I would say it sucks to have home stolen on you period, but there was a left handed batter up so the Jorge could see it coming...There was just not much he could do about it, maybe try to lean forward and catch the ball. Anyway, i hate the Yanks so I am glad it happened against them.
Pretty electrifying player, that Elsbury.
Anyone see Girardi after that play? I mean he looked visibly fumed

I just saw it replayed on the MLB Network. Very impressive.
* Attended the 1990 and 2010 Reds Division clinchers *
Watched the 2012 Clincher on FOX.
*Bat Votto SECOND, please?*
The announcers said he runs a 4.20 forty yard dash. I have a hard time believing that, but he is fast.

Thats a not a steal home....
the runner was stealing third and then the passball allowed him to continue into home.
Not really stealing home. Its a passed ball.
The only significance of it is that he came from second pass.
You have to click on the highlight below that says Ellsbury steals home. The clip that initially comes up is the one you describe, the passed ball.

Man stealing home would scare me. Fastball to the dome just wouldnt feel good...
