    cowboy twitter

This was mentioned during the game thread tonight. Is anyone following this or any other Reds Twitter site? If so, which ones and is it worth while?

Essentially a series of facebook status updates. Called tweets.

For the most part useless, sometimes though can be worthwhile.

I'm pretty sure that MartySays is not real.

It looks like this might actually be the Reds official Twitter - looks like it just started.

There's shots of Dusty, Bruce and Votto recording radio spots, so I'd assume that means it's official. Not sure many fans would be able to get a shot of that and post them.

    It's real.

Twitter is actually awesome. You can use it to get updates on all kinds of stuff that you like. For me, I get Reds updates, West Virginia updates, funny celebrity updates, ESPN updates, MLB Trade Rumors, people like Jason Stark, etc. A lot of people use it for links to their blogs and stuff.

If you are even thinking about it, i suggest signing up and at least start following Fay, Marty, etc. It's a great way to get all of your news from one site instead of going to many different ones.

I'm pretty sure it was not really Marty's site. He was ranting about it during last nights broadcast - threatening legal action. And now it appears to be gone.
