    Dom Deluise RIP

Gone to that big Cannonball Run in the sky:

n some sad news, we have learned that actor and truly funny man Dom DeLuise has passed away. The actor starred in classics like "Cannonball Run", "Spaceballs", "An American Tail", and "Robin Hood: Men in Tights". DeLuise had many other talents besides acting. He put out a line of cookbooks and instructional videos along with writing children's books. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Arthur, and his three sons, Peter, David and Michael.

He'll always be the voice of Itchy in "All Dogs Go To Heaven" to me.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I recently realized that the actor who played Dennis Franz's son on NYPD Blue was DeLuise's son, one of three sons who acted.

Thought Dom died a while ago. I was surprised he was still alive.

Must have confused him with someone else.

Maybe James Coco who died a few years back. I think a lot of people confused those two.
