It would be really nice to win both with St. Louis on their way in town. In fact, I'll go out on a limb (considering the Reds home record) and predict 2-0.

The way Joey Votto is hitting the ball his next day off will be sometime in Sept and he would will still be available to PH.

I'll say 2-0 too. Cincinnati killed the ball at Milwaukee earlier this season, and I don't think Looper will have as easy of a go in GABP. Let's keep killing it against the central.

Not me. The Brewers lineup is RH heavy, and they tend to mash lefties more than righties. Also, Braun just missed another game due to a minor injury, and their fans keep speculating that he's still not healthy from the issues he had in the WBC.

Of course, Bill Hall will probably beat the Reds all on his own.

I cant get behind the 2-0 predictions simply because we have Owings pitted against Looper, who's been solid all year. I think we'll win tonight (despite Parra being a LHP) and lose tomorrow, splitting another series. Definitely need to avoid the sweep for momentum heading into this weekend's monster series.

Anybody else feel like this is obnoxious filler between now and the Cards series? I can't wait to play those guys.

I'm wondering what the weather is like in downtown cincinnati. I was going to make the trip tonight if not for the weather report.

Interesting, Hall isn't in the lineup tonight. I didn't realize he tweaked his hammy yesterday.

    Team's OPS last 7 days:

    Brewers: .692
    REDS: .729

Team's OPS Against last 7 days:

    Brewers: .612
    REDS: .557

Two hot pitching staffs going at it again over these two days. It's likely that it only takes 3 runs to win either of the next two games, as probably at least 1 team will be held to 2 runs or less in each of the games.

What a wonderful Dusty has put out there tonight. Is there a worse manager in MLB when it comes to making lineups, I dont think so. Baker is terrible when it comes to a lineup card. Oh well the Reds have already lost tonight. When it comes to Dustys terrible lineup, the Reds awful offense, and Arroyo being bad tonight the game is over.

    Herrera's a good pitcher.

I'm very glad he's on the team this year.
