Yawn...Reds lead the majors in ERA

Shutout tonight boosts them up to #1....k totals quickly rising as well.

In gets old doesn't it?...year after year after year after year, stellar pitching.

To think that Owings would have been the ace of the staff 3-4 years ago....now he's barely the 5th.

Your tongue was so firmly in cheek that I bet it's bleeding, VR

I just wish we could put it all together. For nearly ten years, we had awesome hitting and no pitching. Now we have awesome pitching and sub par hitting.

    Someday. Maybe.

Pitching well is cool and there's nothing not to like about it.

It was definitely a strange sensation glancing at the standings and seeing the Reds ranked #1 in pitching.

This may be the best run of pitching I have seen in my 38 years of being a Reds fan. It's pretty amazing. I just hope it will last.

They'll never be able to develop or attract good pitching with that ballpark.

    I think it's safe to say we've de-Miltonfied.

Krivsky trades for Arroyo and Volquez. Signs Arroyo and Harang to LTCs. Does not trade Cueto for Bedard. Signs Cordero. Gotta give the guy credit.

The plan has been clear. Build the future with pitching.

It could be that the future has arrived. Will there be bats for sale?

There are always bats for sale, the problem as we saw this offseason is the price for said bats.

Well, we've still got the teases of Scott Scudder, Ty Howington, Lance Davis, Jack Armstrong, Larry Luebbers, Rob Bell, Tim Pugh, John Roper, Pat Pacillo, and Jay Tibbs to go, so let's keep the good pitching up.

I think one more scan of the carpet with the UV light will reveal their total eradication!

    I hope...
