The Reds are leading all of ML baseball in pitching.....welcome to bizarro world, LOL
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Personally, I'm still trying to recall the 10 years of awesome hitting. Because I sure don't remember it. Lots of dingers...but "hitting"...not so much.

But who cares....we've got a rotation of studs. I'm a happy camper. :O)
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

1970 to 1979 was an awsome hitting stretch. Maybe that was it?

It was pretty awesome relative to the pitching.

When was the last time the Reds led MLB in ERA? Past April anyway.

Probably doesn't get MLB Network...I remeber those days. They were dark times indeed.

Volquez and the Reds-Marlins highlights led off the 8 AM version of "Quick Pitch" on the MLB Network this morning.

I mentioned last night that Baseball Tonight is like remedial baseball compared to MLB Network.

And the Dodgers #1 in Runs scored. In fact the Dodgers are on pace to score the most runs they have since 1953, the Reds OTOH are on pace to score as much as the 1989 Reds.

So, if I'm reading this list properly, are you telling me, WOY, that the Reds already have as many shutouts as they did in any season over the past 20 years?

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
