I think we should be seeing Travis Wood in Louisville soon. He has re-emerged as one of the better pitching prospects in the system. I'd like to see what he can do at the next level.
A Louisville rotation of Bailey-Maloney-Thompson-Ramirez-Wood would be pretty interesting. I'd move Jukich to the bullpen, as that's clearly where he has the best shot in the big leagues (as a mop-up guy.) A bullpen of Jukich-Viola-Manuel-Bray-Fisher-Roenicke would be pretty awesome as well.

While I'm sure the Reds will do that, there's no need to rush him. His BB rate is higher than his K rate and he's only 22. A productive full season in AA would be a positive step for him after losing most of 2007 to injury and struggling through 2008.Originally Posted by Benihana

I agree. I'd leave Travis in Double-A all season. He's still very young and there's no need to rush him.
I agree with not rushing Wood. His first option won't be used until next year, so he has plenty of time to figure things out.
