How likely could it be that Todd Frazier could be somewhat like a Joey Votto (at least offensively) in the majors? When Votto was in the minors, I had heard that he didn't have a very high ceiling (Aubrey Huff lite I think I heard a couple times), he had a slower stick, not much power etc. People even used those reasons to support trading him for Bedard. He's clearly blowing through these comparisons and has been a force this year.
I've heard similar things about Frazier and his ceiling. I've heard him called Troy Glaus lite, has holes in his swing etc. But is there any chance he could be more than that? Could Frazier also have a higher ceiling than some scouts suggest?
