Coming into tonight, .368. So while its high, its not incredibly high. He has 6 strikeouts in 117 plate appearances this year. If you correct Heisey's BABIP to even something around .310 he would still be hitting .327/.436/.602. Thats how good his season has been so far.

Heisey is 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, and his 8th stolen base.

Frazier is 1-for-3 with his first AA home run.

Isn't Heisey the guy who hit two grand slams, or something similar, in his first minor league game?

Chris Heisey struck out in his most recent at bat. Probably time to demote him. That is his 2nd strikeout in his last 17 games. Let me repeat that. That is his 2nd strikeout in his last 17 games.

Really good to see those extra base hits from Frazier.

Looks like Homer had some awful defense behind him, but that doesn't explain the four walks and only two K's. It appears he didn't have his stuff tonight. Hopefully he rebounds in his next start.

Stubbs finished 2-for-3 with a double, two walks, and his 9th stolen base.

Stubbs has some really weird splits so far this season.

    vs RHP he's hitting .340/.417/.472 - .888 in 53 atbats.

    vs LHP he's hitting .190/.292/.190 - .482 in 21 atbats.

Nope. I saw it in person. He just didn't have it. Hopper made two nice plays on balls well hit. Bankston made a nice stop on a ball that would have been extra bases. Homer settled down after the 2nd and was effective. The first two innings were just bad. He was 95-96 and hit 97 once on his fastball but that just doesn't cut it when nothing else is working.

Stubbs, on the other hand, just keeps on looking very impressive. Although, I think he was out on his steal. Sutton has no business playing SS. Valaika is expected back in 10 weeks.
