Carolina is in a rain delay. Top of the 4th, 2 down runner on 2nd. Avery is going for the Mudcats tonight. Carolina has been 9 up, 9 down so far.
Sarasota trails 6-4 after 4 1/2. They have failed to fully take advantage of four Hammerhead errors. Alonso with RBI number 28 and Neftali Soto had a two run blast (3). Jerry Gil continues to get pounded giving up all six runs in 3 1/3 innings. His ERA is now in double digits.
Dayton down 1 zip in the second.
Hopper with an RBI single in the 5th. 2-1 Yanks
Louisville down 2-1 bottom 7. Pretty decent night for Thompson, 6 IP, 7hits, 1 BB, 2 R, 4 K's.
Another RBI single for Hopper ties it up 2-2
Stubbs with an RBI double - 3-2 Bats
Maybe the light finally came on for Stubbs.
Sarasota with a pair in the top of the 8th to tie things up at 6. Hammerheads now up to six errors on the evening. yonder with a single and a double.
Dayton up 2-1 in the fourth. A definite sign of the Apocalypse.

He's starting to make a believer out of me.

Sean Watson just blew the save after a Carolina comeback by serving up a two-out, two-strike, two-run single to a batter hitting .208. Mobile now leads 5-4 headed to the bottom of the ninth.
Lots of struggles for this guy this season so far.
Looks like Carolina tied it in the bottom of the ninth with a two-out walk to Heisey, Cozart HBP and RBI single for Francisco. Frazier fanned. Then, in the top of the 10th, Frazier and Parker were both ejected.
Mudcats lose it 7-5 after a passed ball and a run-scoring single off Ruben Medina in the 10th. Still not sure what happened with the ejection of Frazier/Parker- Frazier had been called out on strikes so that's understandable, but Parker wasn't even in the game at the time! What'd he do, come out to play the field right afterward and tell the ump "still think that was a horse!@#$ call, blue."? Catcher Chris Denove had to go play first base.
