Bruce is a monster. Thunderous two-run shot inside the rightfield foul pole.

Bruce Homers 4-3. He's a stud folks. We're watching something develop with this guy.

Phillips singles. Blood in the water with Wainright.

I figured Jay Boy would have a monster second half of the season but he started early on me. The average isn't there yet but it will be. Meanwhile, he's looking at that 40 HR total and thinking that it's no big thing.

Nix's stance reminds me a little bit of Willie Greene's. He's a grip-it-and-rip-it guy, no doubt about it.

Thanks for the PBP. Let's go Reds. How has Volquez looked?

Ramon GO back to the mound. 4-3 after 3.

All 4 Cards runs tainted. Volquez Error in the 1st. Another mis-read by Willy in the 3rd.

I will say one thing for this team. There's not a lot of give up in any of them. They'll be fighting to the end...getaway day is never a gimme with these guys.

They're getting some ringing hits off Volquez. Largely I'm guessing because he's missing his spots quite a bit.

Thanks MTH123. Looks like Hernandez doing a great job at 1B the last few games.
