That's where that error by Rosales hurt. The DBacks should have their 8-9-1 hitters due up. Instead it's the top of the order. Gotta make those routine plays.

Definitely exciting baseball of late, especially Sunday's game. This team could really get on a roll with the offense starting to show life. Several players riding hitting streaks right now.

Lance Nix is our defensive left fielder. Period.

Nix makes a sliding catch on the line drive by Young.

I said all winterthat they needed a LF to hit between Votto and Bruce. I was thumping the deal Phillips drum also. The reason for both was that I had no problem with Phillips returning as long as they batted him in the bottom third of the order, but knew that Dusty would hit him cleanup all season.

Love BP's defense and his smile - dispise his plate approach though. Thing is, that approach might actually change somewhat if you put him 7th or 8th. Of course, we'd have to put up with Uber pouting and whining

Don't care much for Upton tossing the bat and posing at the plate.

there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008

That was a horrible pitch call by either Arroyo or Hernandez. He's ahead in the count 1-2, and you throw a high fastball to Upton, the one pitch the guy can absolutely murder.

I was thinking the same thing. "Look at me, my team is still losing."

No kidding. Sometimes I wonder if the Reds have advanced scouting. A breaking ball down and away probably gets him.
