This year is night and day different. This team, so far, has actually shown a baseball IQ. They throw to the right bases, hit cut off men, and hustle. Part of it is the emphasis on speed and agressiveness, part of it is the addition of Taveras, part of it is the loss of two larger, lumbering sluggers (not to mention their HR power) in place of speedier (though less powerful) alternatives.
Refreshing to see.

I am hoping it is dehydration and lingering effects from the flu he was dealing with over the weekend. It has been over 100 in Arizona since they got there.
