Janish needs to play SS, IMO.

This is a big road trip. The D-Backs and Padres are both 13-19, so these are games the Reds need to win. They need to go 3-3 at the minimum.

    How about 6-0?

Anything less than the 3-3 would be a big disappointment, IMO. I'm hoping for 4-2 or better, but 3-3 wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Tonight is the big game of the series.
Game #2 is Owings vs Haren (ouch).
Game #3 is Cueto vs a rookie.

We win tonight & there is a very good chance to win 2/3 & hopefully 3/3 if we get lucky against Haren.
Lose tonight & then face Haren tomorrow. No good.

Hopefully Arroyo continues pitching well on the road tonight.
This year Arroyo is 3-0 with a 1.69 ERA on the road and 1-2 with a 16.34 ERA at home.

Willy T with a leadoff single.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Good start for the Reds as Taveras singles and Hairston doubles.

Votto walks to load the bases. Bases loaded with no outs. Reds need to bust this game open right away.
