The Brewers beat the Cardinals today 1-0. Jeff Suppan threw seven shutout innings for the Brewers.

The Cubs led the Astros 4-0 going into the top of the 9th inning but the Astros have tied the game and have runners on first and second with nobody out.

The Cubs scored a run in the bottom of the 9th and won 5-4. The Reds need to win to stay a game behind the Brewers for first place.

The Cubs lost 2-1 at home to the Dodgers tonight and are now 23-23, three games behind the Reds.

The Cardinals and Brewers were off tonight. The Brewers will host our Reds over the weekend while the Cardinals travel to San Francisco for three games.

    Go Reds!
    Go Dodgers!
    Go Giants!

I love the Cubbies for one thing: often, they are the source of an afternoon ballgame to brighten a drab day of work. Today is just such a day, as the Dodgers try to make it two straight over the Baby Bears at 2:20. Go Dodgers! (still just sounds wrong as a BRM devotee)

I will be joining Santo and his homer sidekick on Gameday Audio shortly.

I love the day games as well but for a different reason..... I will actually have a place to park by the time I get home from work!

Pitchers duel going on at the Friendly Confines. Matt Kemp just homered to put the Dodgers up 1-0 in the 7th. Of course I just traded him away literally last night to the guy I'm going up against.

As I type Koyie Hill goes deep and we're tied again.

Scrubbies hang on to win 2-1. Could not click fast enough to avoid hearing even one second of "Go Cubs Go." With age, the reflexes start to go.

I have to put in a plug for MLB.tv as the greatest invention since baseball itself. I've been switching back and forth between the PiP windows of the Cards and Brewers games. Some nights I watch four pictures in one, every morning I watch condensed games or jump around to the last innings of games I'm intrigued by, and all for $99 a season. You just can't beat it and will be addicted quickly. My scoreboard watching has been enhanced greatly!

Plus for fantasy nuts like myself, you can import your roster, and they notify you whenever your players are on deck or at bat. It's seriously awesome. I bought a 16 inch screen just so I could hi def the games and the picture comes in 100% clear most of the time. Great investment.

I prefer MLB Network on TV. Good stuff right there.
