The ump is really squeezing the strike zone tonight. The 0-2 and 2-2 pitches looked good. Giles walks on the 3-2 pitch

I thought Volquez was going to throw a gem tonight. I was wrong. With his stuff, against this offense, I thought he would go about seven innings and allow one run or less and strikeout 10+ like he did against them last season but he doesn't seem to have his great stuff tonight.

Seems like EV should be at about 50 pitches, but he's only at 31. Let's hope his troubles are behind him and he can go a solid 7 tonight

Looks like EV only gets those called strikes when he's batting, not pitching.

Geer is pumping 1st pitch strikes to everybody.

And the Reds offense looks anemic again.

Pads must have quite a starting pitching staff. All these guys seem like All Stars against the Reds.
