    Re-do a draft - 2003

Remember 2003? The Reds had a new ballpark and the world was going to be their oyster. Jim Bowden's plan was coming to fruition. So put on your leather pants and get ready for re-do a draft.

We're going 30 picks here (well, hopefully, seeing that we petered out with the 2002 list and the washout rate in 2003 was extremely high). Everybody taken in the 2003 draft is eligible, regardless if they signed. There's no formal picking order, whoever posts gets to make the next selection. Posters can make multiple picks, just don't make two selections in a row.

Anyone selected in the draft for the year in question is eligible. How he was rated prior to the draft should not be considered. The only considerations are how he has played to date and what kind of future you think he has. We're pretending we've got a time machine that takes us back to draft day 2003 with the benefit of knowing everything we know today.

Let's keep the current picks listed with each new pick and then just bold the new selection. For instance:

    1. Dude A
    2. Dude B
    3. Dude C
    4. Dude D
    5. New Dude

Here's the first pick, a guy the Reds drafted twice:

    1. Nick Markakis

    Good draft for the Dodgers.

LOL, that's the 2nd time in a week I've messed up. Although i must say the website I was looking at had him as a 3B drafted by the Brewers.

    I should probably give up.
