I've been pleasantly surprised with his defense at first.

Agon, McNugget & Manigan due up

Agon flies out to the track. 1 down. Nice AB from Alex....crummy result, but nice approach.

The Reds #6 and #7 hitters have some ugly batting averages.

8 looks pretty darned good though. I'd really like to see Hanigan get some more playing time. He's been absolutely lights out offensively AND defensively....and as I type it...Manigan singles to left. 2 for 2.

Harang gets ALL of that one!!!!! Slow roller a few feet in front of the plate. :O) End of the inning.

    After 4, 3-1 Reds.

I know they say he works hard on hitting but I just can't see any progress.

Still feel the same about your sig at this point? Not so much where the Reds are concerned but the Cards maybe?

Top of the 5th. Coste, Moyer & Rollins due up. And I don't want to see ANY OTHER Phillies hitters. You hear that Aaron!?!

I agree. It's like watching one of my daughters swinging in the Putt-putt batting cages. Just awful...yet strangely entertaining at the same time. *grin*

And yes, I'm sticking with it. The Cards will crash back down to earth. The Brewers will NOT get this kind of pitching over the long haul. The Cubs will get healthy and so will the Reds & Pirates. Its way too early to change my opinion.
