Doesnt look like Heisey or Stubbs will get the call after the break if its up to Dusty. Pretty much said on pregame he didnt think they were ready

Don't forget the Futures Game is on at 2:00 on ESPN2. Chris Heisey is batting sixth and playing left field.

Alex Buchholz is back in the Sarasota lineup today.

How would Dusty have any idea on whether or not they were ready. It'll be up to Walt to make that decision.

Dusty gets reports from each minor league manager after the game from that day. He goes on what those managers tell him is my guess. Whether they say 'X is ready' or not is another thing, but he certainly is getting information every day on those guys.

As does Walt I'm sure while also watching them play himself. I really hope Dusty doesn't have a say in who will get the call. Can't say I'm a big fan of how Dusty evaluates talent.

Well I kind of agree with keeping them there if

all Dusto would do is having Heisey and/or Stubbs sitting the bench every game. They need to play everyday, get at bats, learn situations, not sit the bench and watch Taveras stink up the joint.

So if Dusty doesn't have the brains to play them, yeah, keep them in Louisville and let other has been or never will bes, play I guess.
