    Raul Ibanez

    17 HR, 42 RBI, .357/.419/.758

    On pace for 67 HR

BTW, he's pretty much the same player away from Citizens Bank Park.

    My question: Um, WHAT?

    Re: Raul Ibanez

I'm not surprised at all. He's had his ups and downs but he fits great in the Phillies lineup. Good for him!
It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...

He's had a great start, but I fully expect a regression. That might mean he still has a career year--but not 67 HR.

Hitting in front of Ryan Howard helps a lot.

I'm not either. I knew that was good signing for ths Phils with that ballpark they have. I thought he would put up some good numbers but not this good!

I was thinking the same thing when I was at game 2 of the Phillies series. I was looking at his stats on the scoreboard and I thought, "Really?!"

Always liked him, but man didn't see a year like this happening.
