    With Votto back, its time for Bruce to get a night off. Maybe tomorow.

    i thought the same thing. but play him tonight against the rookie as Bruce is one of our few power threats. tommorrow rest him against Lee (a much better pitcher)

    Interesting that Gomes is at 5, Bruce at 6. I would have expected the other way around.

    Maybe they want the chance for Bruce to face the LH with a man on (and from the stretch) and feel behind Gomes is the best chance for that tonight?

    I think it's a simple as Gomes probably being able to hit LH pitching better.

    Wow... the FSN radar gun is off by about 7 MPH. Tv gun showed 86 MPH. Gameday showed 93.
