Great AB from Hernandez there. His bat has been a real nice addition. Our catching in general has been an asset so far this year.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Bruce flies out to left on the first pitch as Lee makes a sliding catch. 2-0 Reds after 3.

Come on Jay...pay attention to what Hernadez was doing and work that count better.

Would Dusty consider it disrespectful to his position players to bat Owings higher in the order? I'd rather have him at the plate than any of the three guys ahead of him. Why not push him up and get him a few extra at bats?

Taking some pitches was not only a good idea for Jay just based on the fact that they need to make him work....but Owings just ran the bases. He could have used some more time.

Micah is struggling all of a sudden. 3-0 to Lee and he's nowhere near the strike zone. Ugh.
