    I've thought about moving him around in the batting order to mix up the line-up a little. With the ability to do a double switch, it's not THAT imperative that pitchers always bat 9th.

    I thought for sure that Dusty would bat him 8th every time he pitches. With this you get:

    Basically a double leadoff man with AGON batting 9th followed by Willy.
    A chance at RBI's for your PITCHER, who will see more fastballs because they don't want to walk him.
    And more protection for your 7 and 8 hitters.

    But if we did this, could this tire out Owings sooner, If he is running all over the base paths, could this take the legs out from under him? Could this effect Dusty's strategy when it comes time to yank him? ie. double switch?
