    Nats DFA Cabrera

Looks like the interim GM is making a statement.

A guy like Cabrera is someone who should try like hell to wear Cardinal Red where there's a chance that Dave Duncan could solve his problems.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Saw it yesterday, but didn't really think it was worth noting. The headline caught my eye, but when I looked up his numbers, I almost giggled. I can't believe this guy lasted this long in the majors.

Just like 7 footers in the NBA. He'll keep getting chances cause he can throw 100, doesn't matter if there is talent there.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

I was watching the major league baseball network and they brung him up.They said if any GM is smart they would sign this guy tonight. He has a boat load of talent and one reason he is doing so badly is b/c he did'nt play in the minors hardly at all and they rushed him to the big leagues. Both Harold Rynolds and Matt Williams said whitch ever GM signs him they need to just start over with him and keep him down in the minors until he is ready. They went on to say if they do that and let him get back to basics then he will be a great pitcher for whoever gets him and it did'nt cost the team that signed him nothing.

Apparently his improvement at the plate didn't mean anything to the Nationals. Great patience this year has resulted in a OBP more than 200 points higher than his BA!
