Cody Puckett hit a 2-run double in his first atbat. Man is he on fire. 4-0 Dayton after one inning.

19-year old Mariekson Gregorius is playing SS tonight for Sarasota. He was signed by the Reds out of the Netherlands last year.

Tony Brown gives Sarasota a 2-1 lead with a HR.

2-Run Double for Cody Puckett in the 1st.

    He remains sizzling hot!!!

Now a 1.600+ OPS (and 1.100+ SLG) over his last 7 games plus this at-bat.

The baseball looks like a basketball to him right now.

    Sorry, OBM....didn't see you post.

Solo HR by Miguel Rojas makes it 5-0 Dayton after two innings.

    Means is 2-for-2

That's right. Thanks. Lost track over the holiday weekend.

He clearly doesn't seem bothered by the jump in level...

For some reason, Stewart was pulled after four innings. That was his final line.

Stewart out after 4. Only 69 pitches. What is that about?

Maybe they're managing his innings and pitch count now as he moves into a starting role and racks up innings?
