Partch gave up a run in the first inning. In the bottom of the first, Henry led off with a double, Cozart singled him in, and Heisey just followed with a single. Two on, none out with Todd Frazier batting.
Frazier hits a 2-run double. 3-1 Carolina in the first inning. Still no outs.
Frazier now has 19 doubles.
Eymann and Parker each singled in runs. 5-1 Carolina after one inning.
Chris Heisey is 2-for-2 with two line drive singles to right.
