Hard to argue with Gallen's I agree. But I liked tripleaaaron's draft as well, thought he did about as well as could be expected with those picks. Ackley, Skaggs, Heckathorn, Franklin and Bullock are solid all the way thru.

I would like to add that I wish the Reds FO would come out and explain the lack of a SS in this draft. :

I also would add cincy09 he had only the minimal number of selections and I like what he did with them. Shelby Miller, Marc Krauss and Daniel Fields is very solid drafting.

All the shortstops I wanted were taken. I was planning on taking Franklin or Fuentes at number 43 but they were drafted just a few picks ahead of me.

I thought that for sure you'd look at Daniel Fields or Marrero with that last pick. But Murphy is a good catching prospect.
