I'm frankly flabbergasted as to why Bob C. or one of his cronies has not addressed this. He's so hands-on in every aspect of this ball club, you would think fixing this obvious flaw with the Reds presentation would be a top priority.

At the least, this will not be an 0fer roadtrip. Ends a 6 game road losing streak.

George is well respected throughout baseball because he's a nice guy. I imagine they don't say anything to him due to his age and the respect those in baseball have for them (he's been at the HOF for years). I keep hoping he gets a job offer from the Cards or some other team so we can be rid of him.

I agree George is a super guy in real life, but still, he could be given a "Come to Jesus" meeting in private about his on-air favoritism for Reds rivals (we all know who)... nothing official. You don't want to humiliate the guy, he IS a great person and very deserving of the respect that he receives.

Watched it loved it, and part of me swore the hugest blue streak alive when Lincoln came into game to replace EV.

Lincoln was awarded the win as well...much deserved.

That was one hell of a job by the bullpen.

Some of the folks in this thread are putting way to much faith and belief in what they hear from the radio.

Jay Bruce got robbed of a hit and walked twice tonight.

He'll be fine, for crying out loud give the kid a chance.

He was the pitcher of record when the Reds took the lead. There was no choice involved.

I've taken to watching the Cards games muted. Just the Fox broadcast. Even family who don't watch the Reds thought I was watching the Cards broadcast a couple times. My FIL (a Cards fan) said, "I didn't know you got the Cards feed, but that's not the normal announcer". I informed him to look in the corner at the FSN OHIO label. He was flabbergasted...

I know we've done George to death, I just wish someone in a position of power would find out how the fans really feel about his brand of broadcasting and do something.

    Vent over!
